5 Sports SSK Sports Style GMT

Mid 2026, when my watch hobby was renewed. What originally drew me was Seiko itself — I hadn't had one to date, and I was really enamored with the dive aesthetic they build. The green especially, for its uniqueness and its parallels with the Hulk, another favorite of mine.

It's an elegant complication, inherently functional without domineering the design beneath it.

My first ever GMT, and it immediately solidified GMT as my favorite complication. I rarely travel and don't really have a use case, but I set it to London — no affiliation to it, I just like tracking the time zone for a 10 second burst of wondering what they're up to. This was also my first jubilee, and while it isn't the highest quality, it's the one that turned me on to what became my favorite bracelet type.
